Het Buitenhuys is a lovely building with 3 bedrooms surrounded by a beautiful green garden where you can enjoy the peace of nature.
The B&B is located in a quiet neighborhood near the center of Itegem, a village on the banks of the river Nete, about 30 km from Tomorrowland.
Breakfast is served every morning with lots of homemade products such as salads, bread, jams, flat cheese, chocolate, cake, cookies...
There is also a cozy space where you can hang out with the other guests for drinks.
- Room Marie and room Dette are both situated on the ground floor. Both rooms have a walk-in shower and 2 box spring beds (of 90cm) that can be covered separately or as a whole. Room Marie is accessible for wheelchairs and has a private terrace at the back.
- Room Leon is a spacious room on the 1st floor (via outside staircase) with a bath, shower, and a box spring bed of 180 cm.
- All rooms have a TV and free access to WIFI.

Myriam is the inspiring force behind B&B "het Buitenhuys". Her entire life is dedicated to 'the care for people. Myriam is a nurse/midwife and is responsible for a daycare center. However, running a private B&B has been her ultimate dream for years. There’s nothing she likes more than receiving people at her home. Piet, Myriam's partner became a professional pilot because flying is his great passion. When he’s not abroad, he takes care of the guests. Pieter-Jan and Eva, her children, and their partners help in the B&B as well.
The three bedrooms are an ode to the grandmothers of Myriam “ MARIE and DETTE “ and the grandfather of Piet “LEON".
