Hullebrug is located in a century-old authentic farm residence surrounded by a beautiful green garden where you can enjoy the peace of nature and relax with your friends. This luxurious B&B offers 5 homely guest rooms, in a ‘Heritage Lodging’ with all the comfort of a 4-star establishment. Driving through the gate of the Hullebrug farmhouse means also participating in the rich history of this ancient farm, near castles and manor farms and the glorious past of the village Itegem.
It is situated next to the river Nete and in the middle of meadows, in the region where the Belgian author Felix Timmermans was born. The bedrooms are named after the characters in his books. From your room you can see how the river Nete winds its way through the fields and how cyclists and hikers enjoy the marvelous surroundings.
You can choose between five authentic and comfortable rooms. Three rooms are located on the first floor of the main house and are accessible day and night through an outdoor stair. Two rooms are located in the ancient stables (with rain shower and air condition) and are accessible from the courtyard. All rooms have en-suite facilities, a fridge, TV and WIFI connection.
Each bedroom is decorated in a different style and is equipped with top-range beds:
- Pallieter & Marieke: is a duplex room with blue accents and decorated with charming antique stained pine furniture. Pallieter has a large boxspring double bed. In the bathroom you have two washbasin, a shower and a bathtub. The toilet can be found, of course, in the smallest room. Via an open miller’s staircase, Pallieter is directly connected to Marieke, a large room under the roof beams, with 3 single beds and a sitting lounge. It’s also possible to create upstairs a double bed and 1 single bed.
- Symforosa is decorated with warm oriental accents and bathed in an atmosphere of original burgundy silk and dark wood furniture. In the bathroom with two washbasin and shower you will find the same warm atmosphere. There is a separate toilet. In the entrance is a cloakroom. Beside the romantic double bed you have also the option of turning the cozy couch into an extra bed.
- Nethe Nestje: This room is located under the ridge beams on the first floor of the 'de Smissche' outbuilding, recently created. You can easily call it a 'romantic nest', with an open view of the garden and river landscape. Accessible by the barnwood staircase, quietly located, with airco (heating and cooling) and a walk in rain shower. Cozy and authentically decorated in shades of ciel-blue to navy. This room you can choose as a twin or 2 single beds.
- Minneke Poes: This quiet room is located next to the garden and terrace, on the ground floor of the outbuilding 'de Smissche', recently created. Cozy and authentic decorated in city-jungle style with green and turquoise tones. From the window you have a view of the large garden and the open river landscape.
- Serafijn is a cosy double room under wooden beams in a charming combination of colours. The bathroom has a washbasin, a shower and a toilet.
