Every week, Tomorrowland and One World Radio select a new Tune of the Week. This week's track, guaranteed to keep you moving, is “Madan” by Jonas Blue and Salif Keita
Jonas Blue is an English DJ, record producer, and remixer known for blending dance music with pop influences. He has collaborated with artists such as Tiësto, Rita Ora, and Felix Jaehn, and released his debut album, titled “Blue”, in 2018. Over his career, he has earned seven #1 hits on the Billboard Dance Chart and founded his own label, Electronic Nature, in 2019.
Alongside him, Salif Keïta is a Malian singer-songwriter known as the “Golden Voice of Africa.” With a career spanning more than five decades, he has become a major figure in Afro-pop, releasing numerous influential albums such as Soro and Talé, and earning multiple Grammy nominations.
Together they released "Madan", released on 13 March 2026, a modern reimagining of the classic track by Salif Keïta. The song was a key inspiration for Jonas Blue after he first discovered the well-known remix by Martin Solveig at the age of 12.
For this new version, Jonas Blue used previously unheard elements from Keïta’s original recording sessions. He blended them with his signature electronic style. The track combines traditional African vocals and instrumentation with modern bass lines and chords, aiming to respect the original while introducing it to a new generation of listeners.
Enjoy this track as this week's Tune of the Week on One World Radio.
