One World Radio

AdamK and Justin Wilkes, your guides during Tomorrowland Winter

Riding high on the airwaves

From Tuesday through to Friday, One World Radio is your one-stop destination for live footage from the festival, interviews with the artists, practical information, hilarious chatter and simply the best music.

Tune back in on Saturday and Sunday for the very best sets of the week just past. And tell your friends who didn’t come – we know, what a shame – that tuning into One World Radio is the very best and only way to get that Tomorrowland Winter feeling at home.

As you tune in, we’d like to introduce to you AdamK and Justin Wilkes, your ever-excited and knowledgeable hosts for the week and beyond – because the best thing about One World Radio is that you can listen to it throughout the year, every single day.

How do you bring that typical Tomorrowland Winter feeling to everyone listening to One World Radio around the world? What’s the trick?

Adam: “The Tomorrowland Winter feeling truly has to be felt with your senses to be fully understood, but with the energy and excitement of being there for our third year, I always try to paint pictures of what I see, so as a listener you can picture yourself surrounded by epic stages amongst snow-capped peaks.”

You will be broadcasting from the artist hotel this year. What’s the vibe like in the hotel?

Justin: “It’s a genius and fairly unique idea, having the studio in the hotel. It means the artists know where we are and it makes the interviews and interactions much more natural than coming into a normal radio studio. You’ll hear the artists talking much more openly about their day, their sets, and their lives.”

The two of you will be live from Tuesday, ahead of the festival’s bigger days. How will you start easing the listeners into the festival?

Adam: “We might relive the madness because there is lots of amazing music and stories from previous years to be shared. But I generally don’t do easing in very well. If it’s on, I’m on. I can’t wait to start sharing stories and music!”

What is the best thing about the Tomorrowland Winter vibe?

Justin: “Alpe d’Huez is such a beautiful location, and you can hear the music coming from the stages pretty much anywhere you go. There’s a constant buzz for the whole week from morning to night.”

Who are the artists you’re looking forward to speaking to the most and why?

Adam: “The energy of Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano is always something that works well in the mountains, and I’m looking forward to chatting to Amber Broos too. She’s on fire right now.

Dimitri and Mike have just announced their summer residency on Wednesday nights in Ibiza and Mike dropped an album last month. I’m also really excited about catching up with Joel Corry. It’s his first time at Tomorrowland Winter and I know he spent February in the studio working on loads of brand new music, so I'm keen to find out what that looks and sounds like. So yes, there really is lots to talk about.”

What is your favorite secret little spot at Tomorrowland Winter that you can’t wait to tell the OWR listeners about?

Justin: “Well, the secret spots change each year – remember Kölsch in the church!  However, for the best party/ski day you need to head to Pic Blanc for the Top of the Mountain. The party starts there at midday. The stage is so high it has to be supplied by helicopter, you really don’t want to miss it… Also the early evening vibe is always on at Brasa in the village. I’ll be playing there on Wednesday at 18:45.”
