How to get there

Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine Ski can be reached in several ways.

Travel by one of the Flight or Bus packages, a dedicated host will welcome you and guide you to the gates of Tomorrowland Winter.

If you want to arrange your own transport, all available information can be found below: 

 

BY CAR

Follow the signs from the direction of Lyon, to Grenoble and Alpe d’Huez.

Attention!

Winter conditions on the road can be dangerous. Take precautions:

  • During winter, snow chains and snow tires are legal requirements in a mountain environment in France.
  • Following items are mandatory to have in your vehicle in France:
    • safety vest
    • warning triangle.
  • If you have booked a rental car, winter tires may not be included. Make sure you have snow chains.
  • Bring a scraper and a small shovel with you to remove the snow on and around your vehicle.
  • Replace your windshield washer fluid with antifreeze fluid.
  • France has toll-paying motorways.
  • Snow mowers will operate every night.

If you are traveling from outside of France, you can take a flight to Lyon or Grenoble.

The closest train stations are Gare de Lyon St Exupery and Gare de Grenoble. If you are traveling from outside of France, you can connect from Paris to Lyon St Exupery.

FREE CITY SHUTTLES IN ALPE D'HUEZ

Free city shuttles run on 4 circuits (A, B, C and night line) allowing you to move easily between the ski slopes and the different districts of Alpe d'Huez.
