General questions

Are shuttles available?

  • Shuttles from the different airports (Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble) and train stations (Lyon and Grenoble) can be booked during the voucher sale. 
  • If you are staying in one of the surrounding villages of Alpe d’Huez, free shuttles will run after the lifts are closed. These shuttles will only be available during the festival days. All information about timings will be communicated later. During the day, Alpe d’Huez and other villages can be reached by the (ski)lifts, also by pedestrians. 
  • If you have booked a bus or flight package; all shuttles from your destination to your lodging and back are included.

Are there shuttles from and to the surrounding villages of Alpe d’Huez?

Free shuttle buses are available between Alpe d'Huez and the surrounding villages. 
More information about the shuttles will be available closer to the event

The fastest way to travel from/to Alpe d'Huez and to/from other villages is by ski lift. After closing hours of the ski lifts you can use the bus shuttles back to Alpe d'Huez or other villages. It is possible to ski to Alpe d'Huez and store your backpack and/or ski - snowboard gear in the lockers and to make use of the dressing rooms at 'Lockers other villages' 

All ski lift connections to the surrounding villages are also accessible for pedestrians. 


I have bought a bus package, where can I find the departure times?

All arrival and departure times are available on your transport voucher which you will receive a few weeks before departure.

How much luggage can I take with me?


  • 1 suitcase or travel bag of normal size (max. 80 x 70 x 30 cm and max. 20 kg)
  • 1 piece of hand luggage of normal size (10 - 12 kg). The hand luggage rules differ per airline
  • Winter sports equipment (see below)

Winter sports equipment

  • 1 pair of skis (with sticks) or one snowboard *
  • 1 pair of ski or snowboard boots

* In case of a snowboard, it is mandatory to remove the bindings from the board. Only 1 snowboard is allowed in a snowboard cover (so no other luggage, such as snowboard shoes, clothing, etc. to be inside in the same cover).

When do I receive my travel documents and tickets?

You will receive your travel documents at least 1 week before departure by email. 
Your Tomorrowland Bracelet will be send to you by post a few weeks before Tomorrowland Winter.
