Global Journey 
Tomorrowland 2020

The combination of travel services offered to You is a travel within the meaning of the Directive (EU) 2015/2302, as transposed into the Belgian law of 21 November 2017 relating to the sale of travel packages, linked travel arrangements and travel services.

Therefore, You will benefit from all EU rights applying to packages. TL Travel, with registered offices at Korte Vlierstraat 6 Box 211, 2000 Antwerp, Belgium (as organizer) and Brussels Airlines NV/SA, with registered offices at 100-102 Avenue des Saisons, Box 30, 1050 Brussels, Belgium (as retailer), will be responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole.

Additionally, as required by law, TL Travel and Brussels Airlines have protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes insolvent.

Brussels Airlines (as retailer, and also for the benefit of the organizer TL Travel) has concluded a financial insolvency insurance policy with Amlin Insurance SE (company licensed under code number 2934), the subject of which is to cover the insured according to the Royal Decree of 28 May 2018 relating to the protection in case of insolvency in execution of the law of 21 November 2017 relating to the sale of travel packages, linked travel arrangements and travel services (Policy Number LXX051797). You may contact this entity (on the emergency number +32 (0)3 253 60 16) or, where applicable, the FPS Economy (Vooruitgangstraat 50, 1210 Brussel, tel. +32 800 120 33, info.eco@economie.fgov.be) if the services are denied because of Brussels Airlines' insolvency.

 

ARTICLE 1: GENERAL 

These Terms and Conditions and the pre-contractual information provided to You form an integral part of a travel package agreement between You and TL Travel.

Without prejudice to the General Terms and Conditions Tomorrowland 2020, these specific conditions of sale apply to Your purchase of a Global Journey Package. The definitions of the General Terms and Conditions Tomorrowland 2020 shall also apply to these Global Journey Package Terms and Conditions

In case of conflict between these Terms and Conditions and such General Conditions of Carriage, the present Terms and Conditions will prevail. In particular, You acknowledge that the conditions of cancellation and refund relating to the Global Journey Packages are exclusively governed by Article 3 of the present Terms and Conditions.

The Travel Package is suitable for persons with reduced mobility. Please contact us (see Article 10 of these Terms and Conditions) in case you require further information.

 

ARTICLE 2:  PRICES AND PAYMENT

2.1 Prices are shown in EUR (€) per person and per package. During the booking procedure and in the summary of the package, You will see a description of the characteristics of and essential information about the package per person. 

If you have bought a flight, train or bus package, the package is based on return tickets including taxes. If you have chosen for a hotel accommodation, daily breakfast and city taxes are included. If you have chosen for a double room, we cannot guarantee the type of room. You might end up in a room with two single beds or with one double bed.

The Global Journey Packages and prices you may have seen in the Global Journey price simulator are not guaranteed and may be updated. Global Journey Packages are subject to availability and prices can change. When you make a search on our website for a specific Global Journey Package, our website will then check the live availability and price.

2.2 Unless otherwise agreed, You shall pay the total cost of the package upon the conclusion of the package travel agreement during the booking process.

 

ARTICLE 3: CANCELLATION CONDITIONS AND TRANSFERABILITY

3.1 Global Journey Packages are refundable in accordance with the following cancellation conditions:

  • Cancellation before 31st of January 2020: 80% of total package price will be refunded;
  • Cancellation before 28th of February 2020: 50% of total package price will be refunded;
  • Cancellation before 31st of May 2020: 30% of total package price will be refunded;
  • Cancellation after 31st of May 2020: no refund will be provided.

You acknowledge that the non-refundable part of the package price shall constitute a reasonable cancellation fee.

3.2 Be careful when finalizing your purchase. In case of a transfer of the package (a name change) before 30th of April 2020 a fee of 350 EUR per change will be charged to cover costs and expenses resulting from the name change. After this date, You agree that the Global Journey Packages (nor the full package nor any individual service) cannot be transferred anymore to another person.

Please make sure to check your package very carefully. Changes of certain elements of your package such as transportation, accommodation and/or type of Tomorrowland Pass will not be possible after reservation and booking.

 

ARTICLE 4: ALTERATIONS BY TL TRAVEL OR BRUSSELS AIRLINES

It is very important to keep an eye on the schedule of your flight, train or bus journey. Due to unavoidable, unforeseen or extraordinary circumstances, there might be a change to the original schedule. TL Travel, the Festival Organizer nor Brussels Airlines is responsible for any changes in the original travel schedule.

 

ARTICLE 5: RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PACKAGE

TL Travel shall be responsible for the performance of the travel services included in the package. 

You shall inform TL Travel, Brussels Airlines and/or the Festival Organizer without undue delay (cf. contact data in Art. 10), taking into account the circumstances of the case, of any lack of conformity which You perceive during the performance of a travel service included in the package. TL Travel, Brussels Airlines and/or the Festival Organizer shall without delay give appropriate assistance when You are in difficulty during the performance of the package.

You are however responsible for obtaining all required travel documents (such as passports) and visas and for complying with all laws, regulations, orders, demands and travel requirements. It is Your responsibility to ensure that Your travel documents and visas will remain valid for the entirety of the travel, taking into account the possibility of flight disruptions, and that You carry these with You. To avoid putting your trip at risk, determine (this link can help) the travel documents and travel visa that you need.

 

ARTICLE 6: INSURANCE

Global Journey Packages do not include insurance. You are strongly advised to check your insurances, such as, but not limited to, health and cancellation insurance.

 

ARTICLE 7:  BRACELETS

You will receive your personal Tomorrowland Bracelet at home. 

The Tomorrowland Bracelet will be a unique Bracelet presented in a special ‘Treasure Case’. If You purchased a DreamVille package, your Tomorrowland Bracelet will give you access to both the Festival and DreamVille.

If you receive your Tomorrowland Bracelet at home, you need to activate your Tomorrowland Bracelet before your trip to the Festival. More info can be found at www.tomorrowland.com/mybracelet as from the beginning of July 2020.

Shipping costs

The shipping costs, as included in the price of the package, will however not be refunded in the following cases (not limited):

  • If the organization cannot send you the Bracelets due to incorrect data, filled in during registrations/purchase.
  • If the postal service in your country is not able to deliver the package due to circumstances out of the control of the organization.
  • If you choose to pick up your Bracelets at Tomorrowland or DreamVille.
  • If for whatever reason beyond the reasonable control of Tomorrowland or Global Journey, you don't receive the Bracelet at home.

Do mind we are not able to send Tomorrowland Bracelets to a Postbox address.
 

ARTICLE 8: LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE

Global Journey Packages are put together with different airlines, train operating companies and bus companies. Luggage allowance can vary within each different airline, train operating company or bus company the Global Journey Package is composed with. The baggage rules of the relevant airline, train operating company and/or bus company shall apply.

 

ARTICLE 9: HOTELS – RULES AND CONDITIONS 

Responsibility and Insurance

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the hotel shall not be responsible for any damage to or loss of Your property. You accept Your responsibility to insure Your property.

Behavior

You must behave in accordance with accepted standards and the house rules of the hotel in which You are staying. Any serious or repeated violation of the hotel’s house rules entitles the hotel to put an end to Your stay without prior notification.

You are liable towards the hotel for any damage caused to persons, hotel property, fittings and equipment and those areas to which the general public has access.

You agree to inform the hotel of any change in the use of the rented premises and not to invite any person, and in particular any person whose behavior, reputation or respectability may in any way prejudice the hotel’s property or moral reputation. In the event of non-compliance with this obligation, the hotel has the right to refuse the concerned persons without compensation.

Security

You acknowledge the right of the hotel to take all emergency measures, which it deems necessary. These measures will be dictated by the management in a situation which puts the safety of any person or persons into danger. You do not have the right to claim any compensation from the hotel following the taking of these emergency measures.

The hotel reserves the right, in a situation where the behavior of one or more participants of the events puts the safety of people or the safety of the hotel in general into danger, to terminate the stay of those passengers in the hotel without advance notice and without any compensation to the client.

Check-in

In order to confirm a guest room, a security deposit and a valid government-issue photo ID will be required upon check-in. The security deposit can be used for any incidental charges (such as telephone and restaurant costs) that may be incurred during Your stay. Major credit cards are acceptable to establish the deposit. Your credit card will be charged immediately, and the amount will be blocked on Your credit card. Alternatively, the deposit can also be paid in cash. In case no incidental charges were incurred the hotel will release the remaining amount of the authorization if the deposit was paid via credit card. In case the security deposit was established in cash, the hotel will refund in cash (in euro currency).

Generally, without guaranteeing so, You can check in as from 15h00 and your room will be held until midnight. If You think You might arrive after midnight, please contact the hotel. Early check-in is at the discretion of the hotel and is based on the availability of Your room. 

Check-out

You can check out any time before the hotel's check-out time, which is generally, without guaranteeing so, around 11h00. If You need to check out an earlier day, the hotel will not be able to credit You for the unused portion of your stay.

Dispute Resolution

You agree, in case You have complaints, to directly contact the hotel management. You will attempt to solve the dispute amicably and refrain from communicating the content of the complaint by press or by any other known communication without having notified the hotel beforehand. 

All complaints must be made in writing by registered post within 7 calendar days after the event. Any complaint received after this period will not be taken into consideration. In the case of disputes or legal procedures, only the courts of Antwerp (Belgium) shall have jurisdiction and the laws of Belgium shall be applied in all such disputes.

Smoking

Please take note that every hotel is fully non-smoking. In case You do smoke in the hotel, a fine for deep cleaning will be charged to You.

ARTICLE 11: DISPUTES AND MEDIATION

In the event of a dispute, You on the one hand and TL Travel and/or Brussels Airlines on the other hand shall first try to arrive at an amicable settlement between each other. The contact details to reach TL Travel and/or Brussels Airlines are mentioned in Article 10 of these Terms and Conditions. If this attempt fails, then any of the parties involved can ask the Geschillencommissie Reizen vzw (i.e. the Belgian ‘Association Disputes Committee for the Travel Industry’) to initiate a mediation proceeding.
