Refunds

Unspent Pearls with the exception of bonus and free “Pearls” will be refunded. Deadline to apply for a refund is August 15, 23h59 CET. A standard two Pearl transaction fee applies*.  

Refund Procedures

Automatic refund for online Top-up with Credit Card (VISA,Mastercard),SOfortuberweisung, Bancontact and ideal**

This applies to Bracelets that have been topped up online at least once with Credit Card (VISA,Mastercard) Bancontact, Sofortuberweisung and iDeal**.
The unspent ‘Pearl’ amount minus unspent Bonus ‘Pearls’ will be refunded automatically onto the same credit card or bank account that you have used for your first top-up online.
A 2 ‘Pearl’ refund fee applies. ​ Bonus Pearls and free “Pearls” cannot be used as refund fee.

Manual refund for onsite Top-up with Credit/Debit card or cash

This applies to Bracelets that only have been topped up onsite at Tomorrowland and/or DreamVille with cash or credit/debit card.  You have to fill out a manual refund form.
 A 2 ‘Pearl’ refund fee applies. Bonus Pearls and free “Pearls” cannot be used as refund fee.

Please note that you are responsible for providing Tomorrowland the correct information.

Attention! If you do your first top-up at the festival site, you will need to fill out the manual refund form.

After August 15th 2018 it is no longer possible to request a refund.

 * For non-SEPA bank accounts an additional € 7 transaction fee on top of the standard two Pearl transaction fee applies. On top of that, your bank might charge you as well a transaction fee.  Check here  if your country is a SEPA-country.
For non-SEPA country PayPal is a free alternative option. 
Bonus Pearls cannot be used as refund fee.​

** The automatic refundable amount is limited to the total amount that you have topped up online with credit card, debit card or PayPal. If your remaining balance exceeds this amount, you have to apply for a manual refund for the leftover value that is left after your automatic refund.

Manual refund form availability: 

Weekend 1: Monday July 22nd 2019 from 13h00 until August 15 2019, 23h59 CET.
Weekend 2: Monday July 29th 2019 from 13h00 until August 15 2019, 23h59 CET.

 

How to request a manual refund? 

STEP 1
Sign in or create your Tomorrowland account.

Step 2 
Link your Bracelet to your account and activate it by entereing the 12-digit unique Bracelet code as well as the 4-digit security number you’ll find on the back of your bracelet.  

Step 3
Click "Cashless Refund" to apply for a manual refund for your unspent Pearls. 

Step 4
Choose the manual refund form that applies. There is a choice between SEPA, non-SEPA and Paypal. 

You live in a SEPA Country?
If your bank is located in a SEPA country, you select “SEPA refund”.  Click here to check if your country is a SEPA country.

You don’t live in a SEPA Country?
1. If your bank is not located in a SEPA-country, we recommend you to choose for a PayPal refund. This way, you avoid additional transaction fees. Please select the “PayPal refund” option.
2. If you don’t want to create a PayPal account, you have to select the “Non-SEPA refund” option.
 Please note that an extra €7 transaction fee will be charged on top of the standard two Pearl transaction fee. On top of that, your bank might charge you as well an extra transaction fee.

Example

Leftover Pearls : 20
- Refund fee : 2 Pearls
Subtotal : 18 Pearls = € 28,80
- Bank transaction cost  : € 7
- Additional transaction cost : € 10 
Total refund amount : € 11,80

Cashless Card Refund 

If you have a Cashless Card and you want to apply for a refund, it is the same procedure as a Manual Refund. 

  • 6 digit code = Security code
  • 16 digit code = Bracelet code

Weekend 1

  • Automatic Refunds: as from Thursday July 25th 2019
    Please be aware it is possible your refund is only visible onto your bank account or creditcard receipt a few days after your refund was processed.
    If you used multiple cards during online top-up, the refund will be processed on one of the cards. Please check all cards for the refund.
  • Manual Refund form submission deadline: Monday July 22nd 2019 from 13h00 until August 15 2019, 23h59 CET.
    You can expect your manual refund to be visible in your bank account within 4 weeks after the deadline. 

Weekend 2

  • Automatic Refunds: as from Thursday August 1st 2019.
    Please be aware it is possible your refund is only visible onto your bank account or creditcard receipt a few days after your refund was processed.
    If you used multiple cards during online top-up, the refund will be processed on one of the cards. Please check all cards for the refund.
  • Manual Refund form submission deadline: Monday July 29th 2019 from 13h00 until August 15 2019, 23h59 CET.
    You can expect your manual refund to be visible in your account within 4 weeks after the deadline.
