Alok made history, breaking the Latin American record with his drone show

1.000 choreographed drones took his performance to new heights.

Brazilian superstar DJ and producer Alok once again pushed boundaries at Tomorrowland Brasil with a groundbreaking performance featuring over 1.000 drones soaring above the festival’s iconic MainStage.

Alok’s relationship with Tomorrowland runs deep. As the festival’s official ambassador in Brazil, he has consistently delivered performances that blend cutting-edge technology with emotional storytelling.

Last year, he amazed the audience with a stunning aerial show featuring 600 drones above Parque Maeda, synchronized with fireworks, lasers, and lights. Co-produced with Tomorrowland, the show became a landmark moment in electronic music and was voted “Best Performance of 2024” at the Electronic Dance Music Awards (EDMAs).

This time, Alok broke the Latin American record for the largest use of drones in a live music performance, with more than 1.000 choreographed drones that took his October 12 set to new heights.

Tomorrowland is more than fireworks, stages, and shows,” Alok said during his most recent performance at Tomorrowland Belgium. “It’s the energy and the vibration we carry with us, no matter where we are. It’s about rejecting the idea of the impossible.”

With this historic performance, Alok did more than play a set. He wrote a new chapter in the story of electronic music.
