I know… the site has been quiet. Click to read why…

For six months or so I’ve been contemplating turning tomorrowland.com into more of what you would either call a ’show’, a video blog, or a podcast. I knew it would be a lot more work, but I believe that video is more accessable than type. So, for the past three weeks I’ve been gearing up to produce such a video. After a lot of experimentation (and a lot of late nights) the premiere episode has finally found it’s form. This first episode has both a review element and a tech guide or tutorial element. I like that about it and plan to stay somewhat in that vein.

As for frequency… who knows. I have the next 3 or 4 episodes figured out. This first one took a long time to put together but I did learn a lot on it. I hope to learn more and more on each episode, and share that knowledge with you. I also plan to add video tutorials and will still update the rest of the site as I have time. A good way to keep up is to follow me on twitter @badweasel.

tomorrowland.com, is a blog about the technology that makes our lives more futuristic and fun, and I’ll try to apply that same perspective to the show. But so far I only have the first episode completed. We’ll see where it goes from here. Enjoy the show.

ALREADY AN UPDATE…

For now the videos are hosted at vimeo, however I’ll be moving the podcast and hosting it here as soon as I finish modifying the embedded player with HD support. In the mean time click Podcast in the header bar and check out the show or head over to vimeo and watch it there.

I’ll also be hosting downloadable ipod versions here until I get them accessable via iTunes. It might take me a week or so to settle into sizes, formats and hosting locations. Any input in that area is welcome – just leave a comment.

UPDATE #2…

Finished a working version of the embedded player with HD support. Hit the Podcast in the header bar, play around with the player and let me know what you think of the show and the video player. Thanks!
